In Episode 25: Stepping Into Summer , I made a mention over how myself and our girls love our portable Blendjet blender. I also made a promise to share some of my favorite smoothie recipes!

Without further ado, here are my Top 5 smoothie recipes for summer!

Ross' Peach Cobbler Smoothie

Introduced to me by my best friend's husband, I have found this smoothie to be one of my top favorites! It's like dessert in a jar, yet easy enough to sub out dairy ingredients for non-dairy, add some protein powder, and call it a health(ier) treat!

Ingredients:

1 banana

1 fresh peach (or 1/2 cup frozen peaches)

1/2 cup milk (or your favorite non-dairy alternative; Califia is my personal favorite for smoothies)

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon plus more for topping smoothie

1/4 tsp honey or

For a protein packed smoothie, add a scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder. My favorite is Doterra's Vanilla Whey Protein Powder sweetened with monk fruit and stevia!

Throw all ingredients into a blender, place cap, and blend together. Pour into a glass and top with extra dashes of cinnamon. Enjoy!

IntaJuice "Dupe" Pineapple Smoothie

The IntaJuice franchise is a favorite of my daughters, but the dollar signs can sure add up quickly stopping there for a treat all the time! So, what did I do? Why, yes, I figured out and perfected my own dupe of my favorite drink blend from their establishment.

Ingredients:

1 banana

2 slices fresh pineapple (or 1/2 cup canned pineapple chunks)

1/2 cup milk (or your favorite non-dairy alternative, or full coconut milk)

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/4-1/2 cup pineapple juice, optional (pending on your consistency preferences)

1/4 tsp honey or

For a protein packed smoothie, add a scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder. My favorite is Doterra's Vanilla Whey Protein Powder sweetened with monk fruit and stevia!

Likewise, adding a scoop of collagen peptides is a great way to add protein and digestive enzymes that break down proteins for improved absorption. Check out my favorite: Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides

Crushed ice

Throw all ingredients into a blender, place cap, and blend together. Pour into a glass and enjoy your delicious IntaJuice dupe!

A classic "green" smoothie can be made many different ways. This recipe happens to be my current favorite for getting in that daily dose of veggies!

Ingredients:

1 banana

1 scoop Doterra Greens (or fresh veggies of choice like 1 c spinach or kale)

1/2 cup milk (or your favorite non-dairy alternative, or full coconut milk)

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/4 tsp honey

1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides

Crushed ice

Throw all ingredients into a blender, place cap, and blend together. Pour into a glass and enjoy this delicious blend of fruits and vegetables in one glass!

Chocolate and Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie

Need a little guilt-free indulgence that is chock full of protein but little sugar? Try this family favorite!

Ingredients:

1 banana

1-2 spoonfuls of peanut butter (or almond butter)

1 scoop Doterra Chocolate protein powder (or favorite chocolate whey protein powder)

1/2 cup milk (or your favorite non-dairy alternative, or full coconut milk)

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides

Crushed ice

Throw all ingredients into a blender, place cap, and blend together. Pour into a glass and enjoy indulging in this rich, protein dense, low in sugar, breakfast treat! Heck, why does it have to be for breakfast, though? It would make a great snack anytime during the day!

Very Berry Smoothie

A classic favorite smoothie filled with all our families favorites berries and fruit!

Ingredients:

1 banana

1/2 cup fresh, chopped strawberries

1/4 cup fresh blueberries

2 slices fresh pineapple (or 1/2 cup canned pineapple chunks)

1/2 cup milk (or your favorite non-dairy alternative, or full coconut milk)

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/4-1/2 cup pineapple (or orange) juice, optional (pending on your consistency preferences)

1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides

Crushed ice

Throw all ingredients into a blender, place cap, and blend together. Pour into a glass and enjoy this fresh, berry-packed and flavor-filled smoothie!

*Please note these recipes yield between 2-3 servings at 6-8 oz serving size and are geared for blending in a standard size blender. If using the Blendjet, you will need to adjust and decrease recipe measurements accordingly as the Blendjet is a single serving device. Also, follow all Blendjet instructions for best use (i.e. always use fresh fruit and never frozen in your Blendjet).
